How about them bananas? What an NBA Play Off  game again. I mentioned in a previous post that I like the intensity that the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Caveliers bring. Well, NBA Regular season’s MVP King Lebron James and the Cavs do not get enough opposition just yet (or are they really THAT good?) but the intensity in coach Doc Rivers’ Celtics games is fabulous.

The 2009  NBA Playoff Schedule is out; who will be the next World Champion in Basketball? Will King James (LeBron) deliver the goods for the Cleveland Caveliers? Can Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson grab another piece of decorative metal for the LA Lakers? Is Dwayne Wade a candidate for Most Valuable Player, and can he bring glory to the Miami Heat? Or can Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen turn things around for the Boston Celtics‘ second consecutive National Basketball Association (NBA) Championship?

Well, it is the day after… Newsweek called Bruce Springsteen’s half-time performance during yesterday’s  Superbowl the best ever. It was energized, pumped up - The Boss owned the stage, and let’s not forget the E Street band. Bruce and the Gang have a ton of experience and they know how to work a crowd.

The Boston Celtics have done it! They captured their 17th National Basketball Association championship - a record, but their first one since 1986. They did this by by defeating (demolishing) the visiting Los Angeles Lakers.
